No professional supervisory body or chamber membership applies. The general laws of the Republic of Austria apply, in particular the ECG, MedienG, UWG and KSchG, as well as the GDPR and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG).

Online dispute resolution and consumer arbitration

Swiva is neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body. The former Online Dispute Resolution platform of the European Commission was discontinued on 20 July 2025.
